What You Need to Make Lemon Garlic Grilled Chicken Wings
You can make seriously flavorful filled chicken wings with just a few fresh ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need to prepare the wings:
2 lbs chicken wings, split into wingettes and drumettesSea salt and black pepperOlive Oil or avocado oilFresh lemon JuiceLemon zestFresh garlicFresh parsleyReynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil
How to Make Lemon Garlic Grilled Chicken Wings
Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle all over with sea salt and pepper. In a large measuring cup, whisk together the oil, lemon juice, zest, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Pour about 3/4 of this mixture over the wings and toss to coat. Save the remaining marinade for after grilling. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate for 1-2 hours.
For the grilling step, I used Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil to create packets for grilling. It works perfectly on the grill, especially with saucy wings! You won’t have to worry about the foil breaking or tearing either, and it helps to lock in the flavor and juices to make prepping, grilling and cleanup super easy.
Divide the wings between two 16” sheets of Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil to create foil packets. Discarding excess marinade, wrap and seal the foil packets:
Bring up the long sides of the foil and double-fold. Then, bring up the short ends of the foil and double-fold again to seal the packets.
Heat your grill to high heat, place both foil packets on the grill, and grill for a total of 20-25 minutes, turning once midway. Be careful removing the packets from the grill since the foil will be extremely hot.
Serving Lemon Garlic Grilled Chicken Wings
Very carefully open the foil packets, watching out for hot steam, and place wings on a serving platter.
Stir the parsley into the remaining lemon-garlic mixture and drizzle over the chicken wings to serve.
These are great as a meal with cauliflower rice, grilled veggies, or potato salad, or as an appetizer. They’ll go perfectly with all your favorite sides and salads! Easy and versatile!
I hope you’re ready for super tasty wings made easy and no-fuss with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil. Grab your ingredients and let’s go!
